Lucy Richards

International 4* event rider and undergraduate Biomedical Science student at The University of Sheffield, Lucy is an accomplished horsewoman and a director at Active Equine Limited. Lucy has been riding since the age of 18 months old and being brought up on a farm in Leicestershire means she lives and breaths horses. Lucy is an experienced hydrotherapist and also has experience producing horses from 3 years to 4* level. As well as being a gifted academic Lucy is a current member of the British Eventing Howden Way Teir Talent Program, In her spare time Lucy enjoys broadening her coaching career and working with passionate riders wanting to take their riding to the next level.

Sally Richards

Growing up on a farm in Oxfordshire gave Sally her first taste of horses at a very tender age, she gained experience handling horses and ponies in the South Oxfordshire Central Pony Club before heading on to study human physiotherapy at The University of Birmingham and riding for international dressage riders Andrew and Steffi Stevens in Australia. Sally is now an experienced hydrotherapist and one of the directors at Active Equine. In her spare time, she enjoys running the dogs, hacking, and doing a bit of dressage on retired schoolmaster KEC Joel.

Georgia Farley

Georgia joined the team in September 2023 as part of her placement year for her veterinary physiotherapy degree at Harper-Adams University. Georgia has been a huge asset to the team, bringing her fabulous work ethic and sense of humor to work every day. We hope that our placement students get the opportunity to learn both about rehabilitation and performance sports during their time with us and would welcome any prospective placement students to apply by contacting us.
